1. Where is the event?
The Empire Ballroom in Downtown Greensboro, North Carolina (Few blocks from the law school) Below is their address.

2. What time does this event start and end?
Barrister's Ball starts at 8 PM. Organization Awards will be given out in the beginning. Third-Year superlatives will be given out toward the end of the night.
3. What is the awards ceremony, and what are the awards for?
The awards ceremony is a chance for the Student Bar Association to recognize the hard work of Elon Law student organizations. The awards are, Outstanding Service to Students Award (Staff Personnel), Campus/Greater Community Involvement, Program of the Year, Officer of the Year, and Organization of the Year. The Outstanding Service to Students Award will be decided by students.
4. What is included in the price of the ticket?
Ticket prices are as follows: $25 for One Student Ticket, $40 for Two Tickets, $30 for Alumni, Administration, Staff, and Faculty, and $35 at the Door. The price of a ticket includes heavy appetizers, party favours, T-Shirt, band, dancing, photobooth, and a lot of fun! Also, Two Tickets can be bought between friends or couples.
5. Why can’t there be an open bar?
At Elon, the alcohol policy does not permit the use of student funds for alcoholic beverages. You can read the alcohol policy below.

6. Will there be a Cash Bar?
Yes. Students may purchase drinks from the bar.
7. Will there be a Band?
Yes! This year we are very fortunate to have “Liquid Pleasure” from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, performing. Below are links where you can view the band.

8. What should I wear to this event?
This is a semi-formal event. As with any formal event, styles and level of sophistication will vary. With that in mind, dress would most likely be somewhere between prom and a nice wedding. No Jeans! Men usually wear ties.
9. Can I use a Credit/Debit Card to purchase tickets?
Yes! This year SBA will be taking cash, check, and credit/debit cards as forms of payment.
10. What if I cannot buy a ticket during lunch?

11. Is there going to be a photo booth?
Yes! The committee is currently is in the process of procuring a photo booth for this event. More information will be available soon.
